Born in Rio De Janeiro, Gilmar Oliveira (Oliver), has been painting since the age of ten. Three years later at the age of thirteen his talent and love for the arts work was recognized by the Director of Colmeia de Pintores do Brazil, who provided the opportunity for Oliver to train with the best art teachers in Brazil. At the age eighteen he had his first vernissage at The Decorators Club of Brazil in Copacabana. In 1983 Oliver moved to New York focusing on living in a new country and culture. In 1990 working in a hair industry under the Vidal Sassoon Academy. In 2020 his painting (new and old) were being presented in his very first exhibition at the Salon Resta located in Delray Beach, Florida. Now, in a recent resurgence of artistic ambition, his paintings with a new look in abstract in nature and environment sustainability are being presented online at the Arts4Life Gallery for the entire world audience.
